These terms govern your use of Wheel of Misfortune (the “game”). By creating an account or using the game, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

Please read this first

Wheel of Misfortune is a game, made purely for fun and entertainment. It is not financial, investment, or trading advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any stock or other asset.

The game does not take your money, hold funds, place trades, or pay out winnings. It does not connect to your bank or broker. If you ever choose to buy or sell a real stock, that is entirely your own decision, made under your own free will through your own broker, and at your own risk.

Never spend or risk more than you can comfortably afford to lose, and do not expect any financial gain. Real markets can and do fall as well as rise; the value of investments can go down, and you may get back less than you put in. If you are unsure, speak to a qualified, regulated financial adviser.

Playing responsibly & getting help

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old to use Wheel of Misfortune. By using it you confirm you are 18 or over.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Please give accurate details, and let us know if you think your account has been used without your permission. You can update your details or change your password from Account settings, and you can leave teams as described in the app.

Fair use

Please play fairly. Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the game or other players’ accounts; do not upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing content (including display names, team names, and images); and do not use the game for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

The game and its data

Stock prices shown in the game are provided by a third-party data source, may be delayed or inaccurate, and are given for entertainment only. We do not guarantee the game will always be available, error-free, or up to date, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Intellectual property

The game, its name, branding, and content belong to us or our licensors. You may use the game for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Anything you submit (such as your display name or team image) remains yours, but you grant us permission to display it within the game so it can work.

No warranty and our liability

The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the game, including any real-world financial decision you choose to make. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date above, and significant changes will be highlighted in the app. Continuing to use the game after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
